How E3 SkyPath uses SMS — what messages you receive, how to opt in, and how to opt out at any time.

Last updated · June 2, 2026

E3 SkyPath operates an SMS notification service for its flight school and aviation maintenance school management platform. E3 SkyPath is a product of E3 Aviation Association LLC. This page describes the program, the types of messages users receive, how to opt in, and how to opt out.

Program Overview

Program name: E3 SkyPath Notifications
Operated by: E3 SkyPath
Legal entity: E3 Aviation Association LLC
Platform: E3 SkyPath
Message type: Transactional and operational notifications
Message frequency: Varies based on user activity and enrollment status

E3 SkyPath is used by flight schools and aviation maintenance schools to manage student enrollment, instructor scheduling, aircraft assignments, training milestones, and regulatory compliance. SMS notifications keep enrolled users informed of time-sensitive operational events.

Consent Is Not a Condition of Service

Consent to receive SMS messages is not required to purchase, subscribe to, or use E3 SkyPath. School owners may complete checkout at app.e3aviationassociation.com/order without opting in to SMS, and students, instructors, and staff may use the platform without opting in to SMS. Users who do not opt in to SMS receive the same service and the same notifications via email.

Who Receives Messages

Only the following user types may opt in to receive SMS messages from E3 SkyPath:

E3 SkyPath does not send marketing or promotional SMS messages. All messages are transactional and tied to active enrollment, ownership, or employment with a participating school.

Types of Messages You May Receive

By opting in, you consent to receive any of the following message categories:

Sample Messages

The following are representative examples of messages users may receive:

"E3 SkyPath: Your lesson with Sarah on Tue Apr 15 at 14:00 is confirmed at Phoenix Flight Academy. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help."

"E3 SkyPath: Congratulations on completing your first solo flight today. Your training milestones have been updated in your dashboard. Reply STOP to opt out."

How to Opt In

Users may opt in to receive SMS messages from E3 SkyPath through either of the following two methods. In both cases the SMS consent checkbox is presented separately from other account terms, is unchecked by default, and must be affirmatively checked by the user to opt in. The checkbox is optional in both flows — users who do not check it can still complete checkout or use the platform. Mobile numbers are never used to send SMS without explicit consent.

Method 1 — Self-serve order checkout (school owners, all paid tiers)

When a flight school or aviation maintenance school owner places an order at app.e3aviationassociation.com/order, the checkout form includes an optional, unchecked SMS consent checkbox with the following language:

Checking the box is optional. The order can be completed without it, and the order will not be delayed or modified in any way if the box is left unchecked.

Method 2 — Account activation (for users enrolled by a school administrator)

When a school administrator enrolls a student, instructor, or staff member into E3 SkyPath, the user receives an activation email from support@e3association.com. During first sign-in, the user is presented with an optional, unchecked SMS consent checkbox with the following language:

Checking the box is optional. The user can complete account activation and use the platform without it.

Opt-In Keywords

Users may opt out of SMS notifications at any time using either of the following methods:

After opting out, the user will receive a single confirmation message:

No further messages will be sent after this confirmation.

Message Frequency and Cost

Message frequency: Message frequency varies based on user activity, enrollment status, and the timing of school operations. A typical active flight student may receive between 3 and 15 messages per week. School owners typically receive 0 to 8 messages per month.

Cost: Message and data rates may apply, depending on the user's wireless carrier and plan. E3 Aviation Association does not charge users to receive SMS messages.
